It all started with a prawn

This site (and the Saucy on Sea collection) all started with a plastic prawn fascinator I made for our Glastonbury crew party. The theme? Underwater Disco. I whipped it up from leftover materials ….the same ones I used for iridescent nipples on a mermaid sign I designed and made (yes, really)

That prawn sparked a wave of saucy , sea-inspired designs that I couldn’t resist putting on T-shirts — and just like that, Saucy on Sea was born.

Beyond this playful collection, I’m a lifelong maker painting,  and all round creator from designing and building sets,  to signs…and dreaming up wild creative concepts. Whether you’re after a custom headdress (not just prawns!), a mural, a pet portrait , or a unique visual idea brought to life
